The Awe Factor Video (from the Crazy Love website)

I first saw this video at my church and then again as my small group began the Crazy Love book. Both times it stirred something in me. At first it was amazement then quickly turned into an overwhelming feeling and certainty that I AM NOTHING! My life is smaller than the smallest speck on a grain of sand.............smaller than that. AND I make mistakes all the time and forget to honor Him. YET, the GOD of this vast universe cares what I do and wants to love me?! AND believes that I (a speck) can do great things. OK. That is Crazy. But when I choose to believe that and ask Him to show me, He DOES and that is just amazing to me. Its my testimony of how great He is. I wouldn't believe it any other way. My small mind can't grasp it.

So, when it comes to our stuff and problems and this world...............this is how I see it. When the video takes you way out in outer space.......that is eternity and that is all the matters. What you can no longer see is the earth and all that stuff. You can't see yourself, your a speck BUT God longs to take you out into eternity some day.

SO, each day, take yourself to that place of being in AWE of him and don't get caught up in worldly things. Honor Him first above all. I will try my best!

Treasures in Heaven

Music is such a powerful thing!
It stops people in their tracks, it calms, it fires up, it can stir up, it can remind you, it can make you sad, it can bring JOY, it can PRAISE the ONE who has put it in your heart, it can bridge gaps, it can light a flame, it makes you jump, clap and SHOUT, it comforts, it expresses, it moves.
It is a Gift from God and I love how it moves me and how it moves my 3 month old already. It stops him in his tracks!

Intro to Eloquence

Eloquence (from Latin eloquentia) is fluent, forcible, elegant or persuasive speaking in public. It is primarily the power of expressing strong emotions in striking and appropriate language, thereby producing conviction or persuasion.

It is a good word to describe an aspect of me. Since I was little, I have had a hard time describing and explaining the thoughts in my head when speaking to or in front of people. I blame it on the ADHD: not able to get my thoughts together properly. It is spewed out of my mouth in chaos - sorta like the Jason Mraz song I am listening right now. (Ha, he's saying your the best definition of good intention....how funny) I think I can WRITE inspiring things, with great thought and depth. That is precisely why I started this blog. So, call this a Blog or Journal of my thoughts that I am willing to share and feel free to voice your opinion!
